this is not manipulation, it's film,disposeable underwater cam.

that was a beatiful day. two georgeous ladies, two of them being my friends for like 10 years. we were in Balca's grandparents' pool. last time i was there, was probably 5 years ago. we’ve grown you know. i've brought some dresses with me, i dressed them up. they were "in da mood"! as a photographer, i must say, i'm pretty shy with telling people how to pose. that's why i usually work with the self-timer and myself. but this time it was different. they were so into it. so was i. it was a 10$ disposeable underwater cam. so much like a toy, you could actually find Nemo on it. i was underwater, the place on earth where i'm most comfortable at. i've worked with models before, complaining that i didnt show them pretty enough. photos of those models are not in this gallery, of course. but these girls, they have seen my works, they loved my works and they trusted me. actually they didnt even care about being pretty, they just wanted to share that moment with me. the water was warm, outside the pool the famous wind of Çeşme was present, we didn't really wanna get out.

photography, for me, is a way to share, a way of communication. and that day, we talked, without speaking, we laughed, without laughing, we saw each other, without actually looking. it was an experiment of perception, and we've done pretty well.
